We are all guilty of getting spun up in the hum drum of life and going through the motions. Get up, get ready, go to work, come home, cook dinner, and go to bed. It seems like there isn’t enough time in the day to just be in the moment with the one we love. The moments that matter. The moments that make memories. The type of memories that bring a smile to your face when you reflect on them.

Here are 7 quick, cute ideas to try out to just let your love know you are thinking of them!

Write a love note

Who didn’t all excited about getting a secret love note in school on lined notebook paper, folded, with a To/From on the front? Think I might be showing my age a bit, but you know the feeling! If you are not a writer, consider sending a Felt card. You can customize it with a photo, borders, and even a note on the back. Felt will also mail the letter for you in about 3-5 days! What a nice surprise in the mail rather than the usual bills.

Fresh flowers

This idea is always a good classic! Put your fresh cuts in a vase and set them on your love’s bedside table. It will be a lovely sight and smell to wake up to. What a great way to have your love start their day.

Wash the car, fill up with gas/charge it!

Practical & thoughtful. My hubby takes my car every week to wash, vacuum, and fill up with gas. It is so helpful, and my car is always looking its best.

“Love does not look like a person, love is our actions, love is giving all we can.”

Lunch notes

My friend told me when she packs her man’s lunch, she slips in a sweet love note. I thought this was the cutest. A nice midday pickup to let your loved one know you are thinking of them.

Gift Cards

What does your partner like? Candles? Coffee? Shoes? Buy a gift card to their favorite spot! Shows you are mindful of what they like. My love did this by putting a gift card in my car cup holder. Definitely made my morning when going through my local coffee drive thru.

Warm towel

While your love is in the shower, toss a fresh towel in the dryer for a few minutes before they get out. This is always the best feeling after stepping out of a hot shower. Warm & cozy!

Simply say, “I love you”

Yes, I have definitely been guilty of not saying, I love you, as often as I should! But, no time like the present. A friend of mine mentioned her boyfriend tries to tells her, “I love you” in a different language from time to time. How cute is that?! Simple, fun, and romantic.

Did you try any of these ideas out? How did it go? In what other ways do you show your partner you love them? Feel free to share!
